I’m working with the JVC ProHD format and the new deck that outputs analogue component. I’d like to capture using the DVCProHD codec since my current drives are firewire 800. Does Multibridge Extreme support this workflow?

    Thanks,

…but good luck with firewire 800. May not be quite fast enough. Either a SATA raid (minimum) or a SCSI raid would do you better.

for DVCPro you need about 12MB/s FW 400 is even ok

I am also planning my set up for this configuration with the multibridge extreme using FCP. As I’m still very new to this platform, could you advice me on a step by step workflow from capture thru edit till finishing on HDV as well as SD (DigiBeta PAL).

    Thanks in advance.
