    Email me at coleman.justin@gmail.com

I’ll send you the codec and instructions.

I have no idea why this is a problem but it drove me mad! HDV 1080i 50 was my problem one, but they are all governed by the same codec.

So forget that last post of mine ok?

    Well its a bit tricky,

Firstly try making a new project of that type and see if it works. Next try a fresh install of FCP, if not then look at that list of Qtime components and post them on here, i’ll look at mine and see if there looks to be one missing.

    Great thanks Bob,

I know this is probably one of the subjects that has been dealt with quite a bit, so thanks for the reply!

    Hi,

You have a Quicktime component missing.

    HD > Library> Quicktime>

I dont know how but it happened to me to. I got a friend to email me the codec from his machine and it solved it.

    Good Luck

Did you make the project in another version of avid?

It’s either a locked track or stream count issue. You either need to unlock the track or edit the whole sequence into a new blank sequence and it should sort it, if not you must be trying to use more streams than either the video or audio allows in you version of avid.

Surely if you are Directing and not editing the editor’s choice is more applicable than yours as to Avid or FCP?

Personally I would export a QT full res from avid. Then use a compression package of sorts to make the MP4.

February 25, 2006 at 7:28 pm in reply to: Adrenaline Conform Please Help

I’ve had just these problems with every adrenaline I’ve used for the last few years, deck types aside the auto conforms are variably out of sync upto 20 frames. Using SDI and AES to capture and conform first 15.1 or dv420 then online at 1.1 or 2.2. 25fps. I don’t know of a post house in london that hasn’t had these issues with adrenaline.

Sorry 2 of those points made no sense, have you tried disconnecting everything on the system, just going back to basics with it, removing cards, maybe transferring the media to a new drive etc.
