Don’t scale and leave black on left and right side. I’ve done this many times for hd going to dpx or film print. This is by far the best way to handle it.

I have one. But I don’t run resolve on it, just a 17″. That’s why it didn’t occur to me before.

30 minutes in 60mb may be a bridge too far. The data rate would have to be under 33KB total or 264Kbps. Including sound. Considering bad quality mp3s are 128Kbps and that’s just sound.

Interesting. Perhaps it is as Eric suggested. The PTZ gets applied invisibly. I’m just speculating. Will have to check it out while I’m at my system. Obviously this hasn’t come up for me.

I’m away from my system so I can’t check but it seems as if you’re in track mode. The setting would be applied to the clip. You are seeing the correct sizing on the image, yes?

I hope you haven’t bought the 15inch macbook pro. Resolve does require a 1920×1080 screen resolution. I forgot to mention that. Heads up!

Or might not. If building a PC system the untested 690 card may be a better choice. Though you can buy three 580s for one 690. The Kepler quadros may hold much more promise.
