Just tested it. This is in Resolve 9b3… but has worked in all prior versions that I’ve tried.
Have you modified the files in anyway? Changed the card structure? Can you view them in SR viewer? How did you create the files?BTW, my Resolve machine does not have the sony plugin installed.

Actually I think what you’re referring to is the banding while in motion. This is why, while it’s a good choice for client monitor, it’s something to consider if using as a main monitor. That said, the issue (at least I hope we’re speaking of the same issue) is only while in motion, and it’s not that easy to catch.

The VT50s can be calibrated to produce nearly perfect 709. They are an excellent choice for client monitor, provided the set is properly calibrated.

Have you ever been able to get scratch and resolve to both use the panels in the past? Resolve uses it’s own driver for the wave panels… Meant for use only with Resolve. So I don’t believe it would be possible to get both to work. Sorry.

The aces IDT can be modified by right clicking on the clip in the timeline. ODT requires change in settings.. But not a lot of trial and error in either IDT or ODT. You pretty much now what you got coming in and going out.

You can change the camera raw settings from the raw tab in the color page.
You can also add a lut as a node and there by switch it live in the timeline.

Xyz isnt absolutely necessary to grade for p3. But it is useful for the sake of certainty. There are plenty of reasons to go with a Linux config. And xyz support is a big plus. I suspect however you might find when/if the decklink 4k ships, we might find similar functionality in the windows/Mac world. However the additional gpu support in the Linux version definitely makes that worthwhile, particularly for 2k & 4k work.
