  • F65 SR media not showing up in media pool

I’m doing camera tests and have footage for Arri ProRes, Arri RAW, Epic R3D, F65 RAW and F65 SR. All of them load up fine in Resolve 9 except for the SR media, it won’t show up at all, it doesn’t even see that the files are there. What am I missing? I have the codec, I can even play the media from the Finder window without issue. Any ideas? I am just learning Resolve so it could be really simple.

Did you change the directory structure of the media? I’ve got SR media loaded without issue.

nothing like that, it doesn’t even show up in the library. open an F65 RAW folder, there is a clip. Open an F65 SR folder, no clip. open the same folder in Finder, there is a clip. It’s like it needs a plugin or something to see it.

Just tested it. This is in Resolve 9b3… but has worked in all prior versions that I’ve tried.

Have you modified the files in anyway? Changed the card structure? Can you view them in SR viewer? How did you create the files?

BTW, my Resolve machine does not have the sony plugin installed.

I have the same problem, actually. F65 Raw (lite) files load fine, but the SR files do not appear in the Media Browser at all. Scratch will load them fine on the same computer, but neither Resolve nor the Sony SR viewier will see these particular mxfs. I have also loaded OK them in Baselight at a different location. In my case, I have SR 444 16bit lin clips copied off the SR memory card. I suspect it’s a 16bit issue.

What OS version are you guys running? There was an issue reported by Sony with Os X 10.7.4. I’m running 10.7.3, BTW.
