August 22, 2012 at 10:56 pmHi Adam,
David sent his clip, and it works fine on Windows and Mac systems (10.7.4 and 10.8) running Resolve 9 beta 3.
It also works on a very low end Windows system running 8.2.2 Lite.
I have not seen your file Adam. Have you sent it yet? If so, can you recheck you sent it to davincihelp?
Are you on a real Mac, or a Hackintosh of some sort?
Adam, you also mentioned you were using OSX Lion, but then said your OS version was 7.0.4, which is not a valid OSX version. Can you clarify that?

August 22, 2012 at 11:16 pmMy apologies. I had been replying while doing other work so that’s why it was so scatterbrained. I’m on a real Mac Pro tower and it’s version 10.7.4
I had been trying to upload a clip but the connection is perhaps too slow so it kept resetting the upload. I quit it and will try to upload it tonight from another location instead.

Like Daivd’s clip, your clip shows up fine in Windows and Mac Resolve V9 beta 3 on our systems.

August 27, 2012 at 5:13 pmso what could it be? because as you point out there is no reason it shouldn’t work. Any suggestions for something else I could try?

September 6, 2012 at 5:38 pmAgain, any suggestions as to why it won’t work on my Mac pro and how to fix it? Thank you.

November 15, 2012 at 2:44 amSorry to revive this thread but I’m also having the same problem.
I can import F65 .mxf media from a previous project: HDCAM-SR 444 1080p25
but not HDCAM-SR HQ RGB12 1080p25Clips just don’t show up in the folders.
They open in Quicktime and Final Cut 7 perfectly.I’m using the Lite version of Resolve 9.
I think the latter of my material is 12 bit… is that the problem and is there a way to fix it?
Best regards,

November 15, 2012 at 3:49 amUPDATE – The new Resolve 9.0.3 Lite solved it for me.

December 18, 2012 at 3:13 amIf you turn metadata off in the PC-4 the clips will load in Resolve. I was working on Set and I discovered this, it seemed to appear while shooting above 60fps in HFR mode, we had a lockit box plugged in and that was the issue. The clips didnt load into F65 RAW viewer or Davinci.
