In my early tests with V9, one thing I’ve found frustrating is the requirement to save and close the Settings widget before any changes take effect. This seems to defeat the purpose of having this as a pop-up instead of its own page as before. Especially when experimenting with Camera Raw settings or LUTs, it would be much better to have changes happen live, or at least have an ‘apply changes’ button like before, that will keep the window open in case you don’t like the new setting.

Really like many of the new features, though, so thanks for the great efforts.

    Cheers,
    DHB

You can change the camera raw settings from the raw tab in the color page.

You can also add a lut as a node and there by switch it live in the timeline.

Good tip, though. Thanks Juan. I was forgetting the camera tab, but I still prefer an immediate response to many of the other settings in the widget, and I was also playing around with ACES settings that do not appear in the node based LUT menu.

The aces IDT can be modified by right clicking on the clip in the timeline. ODT requires change in settings.. But not a lot of trial and error in either IDT or ODT. You pretty much now what you got coming in and going out.
