This helped me too. I remember OPEN GL settings only I forgot I turned it off.

For actual camera clipping fixing, might want to take a gander at what the other gent mentioned.

    Thanks fellas.

January 18, 2013 at 3:44 pm in reply to: How to change media path?

Yes, I am having similar problems. Only in my case, I have upgraded from Sony Vegas 9 Pro to Sony Vegas 12 PRO. Now I know 12 can read 9 project files, only I get missing media and placing new paths to find em is not working.

So, I did it manually but now I get this WARNING:

Warning: An error occurred while loading the project file ******.veg(name of project file)

    The item was not found.

Clicked on details and all that I manually replaced shows missing.
On media that was detected, there are blocks and noise artifacting. I really wish Sony would make a save project as option…this gets old when crap happens and you need to recover your work or when you had to wipe out hard drive.

I am guessing to manually replace them in the project media viewport…are there any other suggestions one may have?

I am having the same problem. Have you found out a solution in C4D? I see you just went with using optical flairs but did you go back to figure out why some lights in the C4D scene didnt light up?

Not to sure if this would work with mac. But I found that exporting an UNCOMPRESSED AVI then import in AE to export as WMV with 10,000 bit rate and 100 percent quality did the trick. MPEG did okay but avi version came out better, at least this round.

    WMV’s are tricky.

  • Did you install any plugins recently? I had the same problem occur when I tried to install DPIT EFFEX. I deleted the file temporarily until I can install plugin on all machines.

But yes, if you did install plugins, you must install on server and client folders.

Yes, I was trying to do the same…only I am migrating shortcut keys from one R12 install onto another computer. I just thought transferring the shortcuttable.res file was good enough.

What I did was also copy the template.l4d and shortcuttable.res file into this path:

    C:Usersyour_nameAppDataRoamingMAXONCINEMA 4D R12_XXXXXXXXprefs

***Note, you might need to unhide hidden folders to see AppData under folder options.

Relaunch C4D and it worked. It might of worked the first time with just migrating shortcuttable.res file if only I could of remembered if I relaunched C4D. It even worked with the -parallel instances of C4D to launch multiple C4D apps on your machine.

    Hope this helps.
