Ah…good…so it is not simply out of sync in the NLE…but actually playsback out of sync from the Hyperdeck as well.

Hey Guys,
We’re having problems reproducing this on some of the other formats you are talking about. I’d like some more details.
How are you importing these files into Media Composer? Are you changing the folder structure of the drives (adding the Avid MediaFiles/MXF/1 folder) or are you copying the files and importing them. Can you explain to me how your doing it so I can run it over here?
Also once they are imported you say at the end of a 90 minute clip, the audio is ahead of the video. Is it ahead on a straight play through or can I skip to the end and still see the offset?
Where are you guys located so I can arrange for someone to contact you directly to get some more details?

Media Express can only capture h.264 if it is attached to a H.264 Pro Recorder or an ATEM TVStudio. These options will only be possible with the H.264 device connected. Then you need to select it from the device menu option.
But the Intensity Pro by itself will not be able to do that. Both DVCPro HD and ProRes are very small footprint. DVCProHD is 100Mb/second 12.5MB/second. ProRes is a little higher around 18MB/second.

Beta 2 should not have fixed anything except a flashing timeout issue that would happen on some systems. It also added support for DNxHD on the Hyperdeck Shuttle 2. It didn’t change anything else that I was aware of. So i’d be surprised to find the issue worse.

This issue has actually be confirmed with 1080p30 formats by our engineers and we’ve logged it in our bug system.

For up convert on capture you will want to set your easy setup (or format options in Media Express) to be your target resolution. So if you are doing SD Anamorphic to 1080i you’ll want to pick a blackmagic easy setup that uses 1080i

And if that isn’t it, make sure that your decklink preferences are set to analog audio input (that’s not set through FCP). That needs to be set from the Decklink Control panel.
For instance if you are using SDI video and analog audio, on the input drop down you should change the setting to SDI video and analog audio as it will default to SDI video and SDI audio.

Aleksander is correct. You can do Uncompressed SD capture, but not with DNxHD as the codec is only profiled for HD. The 220x format we use has no SD profiles.
Also there is no way to move files with the ethernet port.
