    Hi, everyone.

I work in TV Studio that record the Final in DVCAM 16:9. I’am thinking to go to a tapeless environment. Can i use Hyperdeck to record SD video?
Hyperdeck now records in avid codec, that codec can record SD video?

There is any way to copy video from SSD video via ethernet. I have a Unity system with avid media composer 5.5.

    Thanks!

Yes, it can record uncompressed SD, I don’t know how it works with DNxHD, but I assume Blackmagic is going to add more recording formats in the future. There is no way to copy data from the SSDs via ethernet, you will need a hard drive docking station or something like that.

Aleksander is correct. You can do Uncompressed SD capture, but not with DNxHD as the codec is only profiled for HD. The 220x format we use has no SD profiles.

Also there is no way to move files with the ethernet port.

I hope that helps to clarify!

There are any plans for DNxSD support? It would be great for my workflow. uncompressed is overkill. The alternative is Aja Ki Pro. But i like more the hyperdeck, and better price. With DNxSD its perfect. It’s difficult to implement something like that?
I think every broadcaster and video professional will enjoy.

    Thanks
