I have solved my problem, and am sorry I didn’t post my solution sooner if anyone needed it.

I have become somewhat used to the set of warning messages thrown by Encore, and have never had a problem. This time, it said there was an orphaned timeline created when I imported my background for a meny by mistake. I deleted the timeline, not the asset, and everything worked just fine. Interestingly enough, all of the warnings went away as well.

The second possible issue is that, even though there was no warning, I noticed the size of the image file was very near the maximum size. When I deleted the errant timeline, it dropped the size as well. Don’t know if that was the initial problem or not, but, maybe.

Should pay more attention to warnings and their solution in the future.

Frapal… I’m having a very similar problem. I burn a DVD that tests perfectly in Encore, and one of videos doesn’t burn with the audio.

Have you found the solution? I need an answer quickly as well.

    Serge,

I think I have them lined up perfectly, but still, the line. Of course, if I use any edge other than flat on the connecting faces, it won’t work. Still, though the edges are flat, I still get a line when the light is right.

The pictures are 740×480 exactly. What is a format that works?? Photoshop?

Yes, even rendered it does it. I supposed I’ll have to get the time to do a scientific study of it, say, stretching at 95% of orginal, then 90%, then 85%, etc., to see if there is some math to it.

  • 2d3’s SteadyMove will do it without tracking points, and it works very well. But, at $500, too pricey for a one-time stabilization, but if you need to stabilize regularly, very much worth the price.

Ok. I’ll try it out and see what happens.

Thanks for the ref to the videohelp.com site. Another to add to the list.

OK… the Spot light seems to be the only one that get’s me what I want, but I can’t figure out how to keep the area outside of the cone of light visible. If I make the cone larger, it is as if I have no vignette.
