Umm… I think you can use the same numbers of gpu with lite than with full. At least i can use 3 gpu with lite. But with only 2 nodes you dont need it…

I think you can’t use netstor for gpu with your drivers, but better to ask luigi.

    Regards.

Luigi at reduser is an expert of asus p6t7, he can help you with the config.

The netstor is easy to config because you dont need to install drivers.

    Hi jake,
Do you work with mattes?, or hdr?

I like the idea of nodes + layers, but if i must decide i prefer nodes. Its more intuitive for me. I only need a text box under the nodes number, like in the power grades or other app like shake. The name is important in a node tree. With shake is very easy to Move the position of one node. You can use groups of nodes (scripts) that make easy to see the tree, etc… I think that resolve can make some improvements in nodes mangement, but i like a lot what we have now.

    Saludos,

    Jose.

    wow!…
Do you have realtime with all nodes on? + external matte?

I like the idea to have this “texts” in davinci, can help to remember what a node do.

    Thanks for sharing!

The only problem is its only x8 pcie. I don’t know it its enough bandwidth for 4x gpu.

Be carefully with NA211A because its only x4pcie

    Thanks Fred!.

I think the problem come from EasyDcp Player. The inverse lut that this program has make a XYZDCIP3 to RGBRec709 and at least i need to change my monitor from DCI to Rec709 to see correct colors. But if you see your DCP in the cinema it has a DCIP3 colorimetry not Rec709.

Do you know if is possible to make scope 2.38:1 dcp with easydcp?, I can playback 2.38:1 dcp with easydcp player, but i didn’t find any form to create it with easydcp, i need to make the dcp with other program.

Hi Fred, I can’t understand this

RGB2XYZ of resolve can be inaccurate?. RGB to XYZ is a basic task, how it can be bad?

I think you are referring that you grade with rec709 and cinema is DCI-P3, and you want a RGB709 2 XYZP3 and this is a totally different lut.

I have a macpro 12 cores too, but I prefer to use this config because the performance is a lot better than macpro… some headaches in the installation, but when all is working ok, its like a macpro.

I recommend a room for the computer if you always use NR, because the graphics card are noisier and hotter.
