If you are in that keyframe on the timeline, you have already selected it. I do not think there is any way to migrate mask animations into AI, but you can export individual images in bulk, of the frames for use in AI or PS.
To be clear, if I hit play, the spline updates to the new location, but I am not able to move the object in real time in the view port and see the motions of the spline like I do in the tutorial I am using to learn about this.
I am not seeing your most recent iteration of this. I just upgraded to 3.5 and am also wanting to create something close to realistic with a sun animation that will morph into a bank logo.
Simple fix on this, instead of moving the camera upwards, I just rotated it and it works perfectly. Stupid I did not think of that first… Thanks for your input
