The green screen usually means Premiere cannot see or locate the codec for the footage. You might want to contact BlackMagic and get some feedback from them too.

What is the error info? That would help.
What kind of footage? That might help.
If this is shortly after you have constructed the timeline, PPro may still be conforming the audio and creating Peak files.

That is normal behavior in the preview window. But you should be able to use your JKL keys to maneuver to areas before and after your edit points.

Can’t speak to any specifics, but look at it through this lens.
Musical composers all use the same notes, and often notate the same way, on a music staff. It’s “stealing the melody” that is the issue, not the building blocks. There isn’t a copyright necessarily on the way of doing something, but on the final product.
To use an classic example, you can do an open credits overture graphic that fades off into infinity, but that doesn’t violate any Star Wars copyrights. Combine it with John Williams’ music, Star Wars characters, etc. – then you have an issue.

What Dave just said might be the real key to this circumstance.
I worked on a project once where I could not get approval from the client, but they could not explain to me why they did not approve it. After a very long, patient conference call, asking a ton of questions, the client finally blurted out, “Well, film!”
I said, “Oh – you wanted your project to be shot and posted on film?” They responded emphatically, “Yes!”
Mind you, we were a local TV station, and this was an existing advertiser we had done work for many times. I explained how the TV industry had abandoned film decades ago for videotape and now file-based. But I let them know several production houses who could meet their requirement. I also shared the probable costs of going the film route.
Suddenly the work was approved – perfectly fine just like it was.
Give them an estimate of the costs to meet their requirement before you start roto work!

Cody, what are the quality issues you are experiencing? Try to be as specific as you are able about what looks wrong.
Did finished productions look satisfactory before, but not now? If so, was it an “overnight” change?

Are you referring to an output file being in greyscale instead of color? We are still not sure wht ayou are saying the problem is.
Any effects applied to the clip in the timeline?

I just looked in the Video Effects/Transform folder in my CC2013 copy and the effect is there. It is not, however, present in the CC2014 versions loaded on our main edit stations.

Are you importing with a CTRL+I (or CMD+I if you are using a Mac) command?
If so, try using Premiere’s Media Browser window instead and see if that solves it.
