You can use the metadata columns to order clips in the bin according to your preference. If the column you want doesn’t appear, just right-click the top of any columns to get at the menu to add or remove columns.

You could simply make or find an image with a random light/dark pattern, and rotate/move that as a key fill for the text. Nothing too exotic. Probably most easily accomplished using the track matte.

I treat the entire sequence as “filler”. For example, if I want to ripple everything downstream two seconds from the blank space I am creating, I lasso all of it, then type “+129” (29.97 timeline) or “+159” (59.94 timeline) on the keypad, and press enter.

This opens a two second gap that plays as black, and ripples everything to the right of it, maintaining the clips relationships relative to each other.

We still shoot primarily with a Panasonic HPX370 onto P2. Really an ENG camera (company likes to make large bulk purchases) and lensed as such, but we strive to use good shooting technique and camera settings to make it give us the look we want.

In your bin, one of the available metadata columns is frame rate. If you don’t see that scrolling left-to-right in the bin, right-click the headers, the left-click on “Metadata display”. You can twirl open “Premiere Pro Project Metadata, and check “frame rate” to add it to the data columns displayed.

I don’t know what version of Premiere Pro you have, but you can import your animation media into a bin, right-click your animation and select “New sequence from clip”. It will precisely match your clip settings in the sequence.

You should not have to do that, though. I presume you have already zoomed in and made sure your media ends are tucked tight.

Next thing I would do is save, close the project, and clear all cache files. See if that corrects it.

What file type is your music track. Id it still generating Peak files when you start your work? If it is still conforming in the timeline, that may be why you are getting intermittent sound – at least at first.

If you are not using any audio from your iPhone clips, you can select them all in the bin, right-click, and select “Modify”. From there you can go into the audio tab and tell it to not use any audio tracks. You can even save that as a preset for future use. When you pull your clips to source or timeline after that, they will not have audio tracks come with them. (Your original clips are not permanently changed.)
