Flickering, glowing type. Can anyone advise me on how to re-create this effect?
I have tried searching through these forums but I’ve found nothing that suits exactly what I’m looking for.
Im trying to figure out how to recreate the effect in this video –

I would preferably like to do it in premiere pro since I am more familiar with this program but am aware it might be an after effects job.
If anyone out there could talk me through the process or point me towards a suitable tutorial I would be eternally grateful!

You could simply make or find an image with a random light/dark pattern, and rotate/move that as a key fill for the text. Nothing too exotic. Probably most easily accomplished using the track matte.

Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.
