There is also a long-known issue in Quicktime Player (now EOL) that causes the Player to incorrectly display gamma. We always use VLC Media Player and avoid Quicktime Player unless we have no choice ( in a few instances for checking closed captions.)
So when we do use Quicktime Player, it is not for Quality Assurance.

That file in a different location is expecting background renders to be in the same location relative to the original project file location. When you put that file in another location, you break those links.

Your storage will also play a big role in this, as well as what footage you will typically be cutting. A m’board by itself is just not enough to give you any really significant feedback.

What Dave said. I always render out Warp Stabilized stuff and use the rendered file.

To clear the most common cause out of the way first, you have your track patches set to bring in audio, right?

A coder or developer might be able to make something of that; not so much the rest of us.
What most of us can use to help you is much more detail about your system (see my signature as an example). Also include the exact version number of the Adobe software you have, and if there have been any recent installs (or uninstalls) on your system.

And just to be sure. . .
Are these MP3 audio files? If so, convert to AIFF or WAV files, and see if that reduces the issue playing back in Premiere.
But if these noises are truly part of the waveform – well, what they said above.

You’ll want to do this in Audition. Clean as a whistle if you do it there.
