Is it possible you are running a dual screen then stopped using a dual screen… and the settings windows is hidden in that “screen no longer there” space?
Other wise try AME and import the PProj file and try to export out that way until you have time to troubleshoot and possibly reinstall PPro and AME. I’d say its there just hiding somewhere.– Jon Barrie

If you are using CS4 then just send the ppro timeline to Encore, it will work out the Compression for you with the Dynamic Linked Timeline Direct from PPro. Save you rendering to AVI time and assure best quality. This is how you can bring across all the chapter markers also.

You need to highlight all the tracks. Press and hold down the Shift Key and Left mouse click on the names of the video tracks, it will highlight all the clips. Do this on a track that is highlighted and they will all unhighlight. Do the same for your Audio Tracks. With them all highlighted the PgUp and PgDn function will respond as expected.

There is in CS4. Select the group you want to have the default transition applied to (for video transition only select only the video by holding the alt key down while selecting.) Go to sequence>apply default transitions to selection. all clips that cut against another will take on the default length of the default video transition. Set length in Preferences>General

Yep Matrox was taking on the FX processing and so you didn’t need to render them. No Matrox the CPU needs to do it, to get RT it will need to render. Sorry you went to “up” to Mac and went “down” in productivity. FCP needs to render everything too so you’re not going to have much luck with a Mac.

Just watching it back I saved it to my desktop and set Quicktime to show it in high Quality. It’s definitely a de-interlaced issue. The two field data is not there on the fish or the potatoes either. The angle of the triangle is just more prominent, but it’s on the other items too.

This is typical SD Anamorphic Widescreen behaviour. Don’t sweat it. What are you using this for on the output end? Web you’ll need to do a square pixel aspect ratio export.
