You are already doing it the most effective way, except to extend the duration you can use the Rate Stretch Tool to set the length you need. It can be pretty much unlimited. 🙂

Try cleaning the Media Cache from Preferences.
Then restarting PPro.
Let the audio conform finish in the bottom right before starting to work with the project/filesJB

image sequences work on the same name structure with a tail that moves at a numeric increment of 1, so XXX_001, XXX_002, XXX_003 etc. It would appear that you have a frame number break after frame 19.
You can do a batch rename from Bridge, but you might want to try importing again from the next frame you can see that it has stopped connecting to.
Just remember that you need to have the sequence of single frames named in sequence 😛

As a work around, provided you have After Effects CS6, you can import the PPro sequence into AE.
You can also Import a PPro Sequence Via Dynamic link. However beware of Dynamic Linking a PPro Sequence with embedded AE Dynamic Links 🙂
There is a plugin in AE for LUT called Apply Color LUT and supports 3dl, cube, csp & look (native from SpeedGrade).
SpeedGrade can make a look file and export to the other 1 and 3DLUT formats.

It is a zoom/scroll bar in CS6. Which you can grab ends with mouse to stretch/contract. Or grab bar to scroll forward & back in timeline.
Try the shortcuts. Use (-) & (=) for zoom out & in respectively.
To zoom out all the way use (/).

This problem has popped up with some systems that were using the trial and then activated afterward. There appears to be some kind of 30 day expiry that restricts the codecs.
Start new project.
Go to Help and Deactivate.
Quit the App.
Launch PPro and complet the activate process again.If it works – Spread the word.

Unlike FCP, Master Clips don’t hold effects, only the instances used in a sequence, so doing a match frame will bring the master clip into the source on the matched frame from the edit.
To perform a grade whereby you want to do a comparative of shot X, you are grading, to shot Y you already have graded, there is a panel in the Window Menu called “Reference Monitor”. Open this and be sure to ungang the timeline from it so then you can have the playhead of this it on your reference shot (from the timeline, which shows the effects on the instance and then have the sequence/program monitor on the shot you want to grade.
To show the effects of a clip, there is no need to double click a clip (like FCP), simply select it in the sequence and the clips properties and effects will populate the Effect Controls Panel. Manipulate your effects as you desire.
Understanding the desired outcome helps to find the Adobe way to complete the same tasks. 🙂

Hey Jim,
The search filter is one level of limiting the effects shown.
Using the Icon Filters as you noticed drills down the filter again. And yes these guys only show video based effects/transitions.
