What are the clip settings, project settings and the export settings including FPS, frame sizes, Audio Khz, Codec (Co.mpressor + Dec.ompressor) = Codec. It sounds like (ha I didn’t mean that) there is a mismatch in the fps, codec might be making file too big so picture lags while audio keeps cruising.

The 3.2 update should have solved this issue.
However you can select the box and then start typing in the name of the font you want it should come up without the buggy crash.
Update the version though. You need to use the update function in Help.

I’m not sure what your problem is? That it saves or it won’t? Do you want to save, the project is 137mins that is massive! I’m thinking this will be causing some issues!

Cut the part you want to deinterlace out in the timeline, then right click for Field Options. In there make your deinterlace always or others to get your result. This will only affect the clip you cut out and asked to change its Field Options.
No After Effects needed.

You should fix the edit.. by using the effect fill right (for both channels to have the right channel. Then re-export your project.
For the customer until they get the updated one from you with the audio coming through both channels.
Mono is usually the left channel only (white cable) tell you client to plug-in the red cable for sound instead of the white one, this will only have the right channel they will hear the audio now.
You should have fixed this in the edit. Apologise – you have isolated and solved the problem and new copy is on its way free of charge.

I seem to have begun a vendetta with Andy. He claims to be an advanced editor. Good for him.
I think I might have some ideas to approach your issue.1. Add an effect like: Radial Shadow, set the attributes so the opacity is 100% and the amount is small and tight with zero distance. That will give you a nice black “edge” then copy the effect once you have the settings looking good. Select all the title clips in the timeline (I hope they are all on a dedicated layer) then paste attributres. Done.
2. This will take longer, but if you need to adjust the titles in some way that is not as simple as color, (I would use a tine for colour correction/hue saturation effect then copy and past attributes for that too), but you need to say change the font type or something that can’t be solved in a simple effect based way.
– You can open one of the titles and make changes to the text in this one, font, size, colour, outline, fill type – whatever. Make sure you can see the Style Panel, click on the text to show its bounding box. Click on the little triangle in the top right of the Styles panel, select new style. This will put the style you just made into it’s own box on the bottom of the list. Close the titler window. Open another title. Select All (Ctrl+A) move to the bottom of your title style listing and select the one you just made. All the Selected Text boxes will take on the font style. Repeat to all titles. It’s not that painful.
Have fun, I’m working on a 3 hour documentary that had to have this process used for about 50 titles. I’d love to see a feature to change all title fonts, I prefer to make my titles in PSD format then edit original and select all the layers in the PSD, change the font once they all have it, Save it. Go back to PPro – watch all the titles update. Sexy.

De-interlacing the rolling credits?
I’m glad the guy with the issue saw that this was not a solution.
Maybe reversing the feild interpolation.. or to remake it, by opening the Title Selecting all the items in the Rolling Credits by Ctrl+A Copying this, then starting a new Title as a Rolling Tile. Then Pasting. Ta Da.– Jon

There’s dozens of reasons why advanced editors like myself use the match-edit symbols. For example – you may want to apply a filter or audio level over only part of a clip – it’s quicker to cut the clip and apply the setting to the relevant part than to use keyframes or other methods.
I don’t know why you feel the need to comment about yourself as an advanced editor, like yourself. I was not having a go at you per-say. I am still baffled as to the reason this feature is so good and even at all necessary. Woo hoo I can see where i cut the clip so I can sew it back together.
Please name the dozens of reasons why this feature should be seen on all NLEs. Your above example is not a reason to have the feature, I too would cut the clip and add the effect only to the cut part. I don’t need to know that the clip next to it is a contiuation of the clip next to it. I’ve been using the cut this here and add the effect to this only for years way before FCP started to use this must tick to see it feature.
I don’t run around telling students the program is lame because it has bell and whistle. PPro has some really nice features I’d like to see in FCP and having seen the beta interface and features of PPrroCS4 the best parts I like of FCP will be in PProCS4.
I’m desperate to know your examples of why this feature is so great, then I can tell my students. And I will credit you for having bettered my classes.

No. And if you just cut stuff like that willy nilly you aren’t a very consistent editor. You can tell when you watch it that the cut is made on the exact frame anyway. If you are one frame off the exact continuous cut the feature shows you nothing.
I use and teach FCP on a weekly basis, sometimes daily and can only think that the reason they made this feature is so students aren’t cutting stuff without thinking only to find they’ve moved a part they cut instead of the whole clip.

Use the Ripple tool (shortcut B). You can shortcut to this tool while using the selection arrow, hold the control key and the icon when you move close to a clip edge will look like a fatter version of it without holding the control key. This fatter looking icon is the Ripple tool, it will push away and pull in the clip, making it either longer or shorted depending on your direction and then push away or pull in the clips to the opposite side you move to compensate therefore you never get any gaps.
