  • rolling credits flicker after upgrading to CS3

I sort of touched upon this in my last thread, but wanted to specify the exact problem and maybe find a solution to it. I had the ending credits of my film rolling like typical credits would, i created it in premiere pro 1.5 and it was fine, absolutely fine.

I upgraded to CS3 and when I opened the project the rolling credits had a weird flicker to it, what the heck?

Nothing was changed AT ALL, why is this happening?

Do you see it on a TV when played from tape?

This may sound obvious, but have you tried de-interlacing the footgage that’s flickering?

you think rolling credits need to be de-interlaced??? There’s no video just rolling text on the screen.

I have tried flicker removal and it didn’t take.

Andy, you seem to have advanced editors advice for this particular problem…
    De-interlacing the rolling credits?
I’m glad the guy with the issue saw that this was not a solution.
Maybe reversing the feild interpolation.. or to remake it, by opening the Title Selecting all the items in the Rolling Credits by Ctrl+A Copying this, then starting a new Title as a Rolling Tile. Then Pasting. Ta Da.
