I did a wedding and one of the video persons did interviews using a single plug connect to the right channel, making this a mono signal. Customer contact me and state they can not hear the interviews. Is there a way to correct this? ? Everything plays good on my system. I think they are have a single input A/V connection on their tv. Any suggestions ? ?

    Thanks – Hap

You should fix the edit.. by using the effect fill right (for both channels to have the right channel. Then re-export your project.
For the customer until they get the updated one from you with the audio coming through both channels.
Mono is usually the left channel only (white cable) tell you client to plug-in the red cable for sound instead of the white one, this will only have the right channel they will hear the audio now.
You should have fixed this in the edit. Apologise – you have isolated and solved the problem and new copy is on its way free of charge.

How many editors does it take to change a light bulb?

Thanks so very much, never knew about the “effect fill” option, this is truly a learning experience for me. I tried it on a sample clip and it work great.

Thanks again, and I will inform them of the up and coming replacement

    Thanks – Hap
