Thats true, but you can use iTunes to move your videos (of any type, including many not supported by the built in Apple video player.) into VLC. I do this all the time. In iTunes, just go into File Sharing, then select VLC in the sidebar…then load up any video you want. It’s really extremely easy. Again, I haven’t tried this with the exact specs you want to upload, but VLC handles a great many things the Apple video player can’t. It won’t cost you a cent to try.

You might want to try VLC player instead of the built in video player on the iPad. Haven’t tried this specific type file, but VLC will play nearly anything on iOS and its free.

Just click Queue instead of Export now. Adobe Media Encoder opens to do the encode, which can run in the background.

There is a Media Composer keyboard shortcut file for this, but as an Avid editor since the late 1990’s, I’d second the advice of using a Slightly tweaked standard Premiere set up.
Trying to make Premiere work like Avid is an exercise in frustration. You can try, but Premiere works better as itself than forcing it to imitate another NLE. -
Many people make multi cam sequences, which behave like single clips and can be adjusted after the fact, if you need to.

Why nest it that way? Just route them to a submix channel (then you can keyframe it as a group)

Import in Premiere is the same thing as AMA in Avid. When you import in Avid, it creates new media. When you import in Premiere, all it does is link to the media.
Premiere does not create new media unless you use the Ingest option, which can be configured to transcode your media to a mezzanine codec.

Usually when creating a TIFF file you are given the choice of PC or Mac byte order. Perhaps the Linux version can only read PC byte order (or vice versa, less likely).

Check the time you exported it (creation date/time)
Compare everything in your auto save folder and find the saved project closest to that time.
