davinci fusion tiff alpha linux

i have used davinci-fusion to make decent credit rolls, and it works but:
at least on my linux davinci15.2.2 i can’t load in fusion page via loader a
tiff file. png works, so i converted via photoshop on my mac, but this should
work, shouldn’t it? it is fairly common that i receive TIFFs from graphic guys
in the dimensions eg 1998×15000 to animate it.another thing: if i animate the roller in davinci-fusion, is there a way to preserve
the alpha channel? -

Try standalone Fusion instead. The Fusion option inside Resolve is seriously defective and not fit for purpose. It has so many serious bugs it’s a waste of time trying to use it.

Usually when creating a TIFF file you are given the choice of PC or Mac byte order. Perhaps the Linux version can only read PC byte order (or vice versa, less likely).
