You know, I tried that and it stops at the same place with a qt movie. Really weird! Thanks for the idea though. I don’t know what to do. Procoder seems to do it ok, but I don’t know why CCE can’t handle it like it usually can.

    Hi Carl,

When I try this method, I ctrl c to copy after going into segment mode, then deselect A1, A2 and select A3, A4 and ctrl v paste and it still puts the audio tracks in A1, A2! I can’t get it to put them down below for anything! Any ideas on how to do it, or what I’m doing wrong?

    Thanks,

    Hi Bill Thanks,

but I have no options for pasting from clipboard in the source monitor after CTRL C copying an audio clip from the timeline. Any ideas why this is?

Thanks guys. It’s tricky with this cam I know. I could put an A/B mount on there but then it gets less easy to run and gun and hold the cam in crazy positions. I think I’m probably going to have to do a belt pack type deal with wires hanging out everywhere for now. I don’t know why Jimmybox doesn’t make a 2 receiver holder. UGH!!!! 🙂 Thanks again!

Cinemacraft will give you probably the best encode. Definitely better than using Encore to do it. Cinemacraft uses multiple pass encoding so the more passes you make over each frame, the better the image quality. It’s like scanning a photo, one pass doesn’t look as good as two. It takes forever to encode this way, but it’s worth it. Usually it’s about 6-10hrs for a 2hr video doing 6 passes (you can do up to 99) and 4Mb CBR.

    Hope this helps,
