Ok, I’m ready to go crazy here. I’m trying to encode a video over 2 hours long in CCE from a QT ref file from Avid. 1st off, the ref file, once it gets to CCE doesn’t show all the frames that I exported from Avid, but whatever. Second, at the second pass, CCE stops and gives a “MPC VBV ovf frame #20003 (2:32:09:05) bla bla bla” with a bunch of other numbers.

Does anyone know why it does this? I’ve re-exported the ref file from avid, cleared all in/out points, copied the sequence to another timeline, just about everything but CCE quits every time.

Please let me know if anyone has some ideas.

    Thanks,
    J

Have you tried a self-contained QT file? It’s a pain in the butt I know, but I have seen many application that have trouble with QT reference files so it may be worth a try.

You know, I tried that and it stops at the same place with a qt movie. Really weird! Thanks for the idea though. I don’t know what to do. Procoder seems to do it ok, but I don’t know why CCE can’t handle it like it usually can.
