    Hi guys,

Is there a way to get rid of all media that’s not being used in the timeline without dumping it to another drive? I guess what I’m thinking is a type of project trimming function.

I have like 2hrs of footage that’s being edited down to 3 minutes and I’d like to dump all of the huge file I captured.

    Thanks,
    J

first. make a copy of your 3 minute timeline in a new BIN.

    then select DECOMPOSE.

then select all the clips in the bin, once decomposed and select CONSOLIDATE.

once it’s all consolidated, you can delete the original media files.
