  • I have an Ikegami that has the same slot and wouldn’t put an Azden in it…

Sennheiser makes one that fits the Ike:

They’re very expensive, but perform well..

I’d stick with the Canon WD58. I’ve used it on a GL1 and Sony PDX10 with good results, and Canon makes good lenses for the broadcast market.

I agree with Tim, Mpeg4 is a delivery format, not designed for editing.

There’s a sign in the cafe test pilots used to frequent in the movie “The Right Stuff” that sums up a typically American/texan point:

    Too Much Ain’t Enough

Inc. Yourself: How to Profit by Setting up Your Own Corporation
    by: Judith H. McQuown

This book walks you through the financial and logistical advantages and disadvantages of various types of incorporation in down to earth language.

You may still need a Lawyer, but you’ll at least know what they’re talking about…. actually the book gives you all you need to know.

    Highly recommended.

I’m in the market for a new van.. Mark, I’ve seen tripod plates mounted to the floor but it seems to me too much resonant vibrations could damage some mechanical part, or who knows?

A cage is a must as I often work in odd places in Chicago.
