So, you are capturing as ProRes HQ. (BTW, you really only need ProRes422, but I don’t think that has anything to do with the sync). Next, do you edit your material in a ProRes sequence? Your earlier post mentioned codec settings of HDV and Uncompressed 10-bit. It appears as if your framerate settings are okay. After your edit, you should Export a self-contained QT movie Using Current Settings. Do not use QT Conversion or Send to Compressor. Take that self-contained file into Compressor and use the presets you’ve mentioned to make the mpeg-2 and ac3 for the DVD.
