I think most P2 cameras have a repair function for cards. Try putting the card back in the camera and see if it can repair the card. Some Imagine Products programs like P2 Log have a Repair MXF function that might work in this situation. Here’s a link. https://www.imagineproducts.com/P2log.htm

Have you tried watching the clip on your iPod? The iPod spec calls for 640×480 video, so if you’re looking at the clip in QT and it’s squeezed, that’s probably an anamorphic squeeze.

Yes. Just change the extension to .flv. Make sure you know the screen size your web guy wants and the data rate. That’s the kilobits per second the file is encoded with. If it’s too low the quality suffers. If it’s too high it’ll take a while to load. We normally encode at 500kbps, but going higher than that is ok if users can handle that.

I’ve read posts on the COW about encoding an h.264 QT and changing the .mov to .flv and that it will work. If you search the FCP and Flash forums you should find out more about that. I’m not aware of any free encoding programs, although, they probably exist.
