    Evening all,

I just finished editing a clip I shot on HDV Cam PAL, so 1440×1080 displaying at 1920×1080.

When I try to Export via QT Conversion it ends up in the wrong aspect ratio, squeezed up and narrow, at 640×480. FCP won’t let me get in to adjust the ipod export settings, it’s grayed out, so my question is….

How can I export to the ipod setting but preserve my aspect ratio?

    Thanks a lot,

    Steve.

Have you tried watching the clip on your iPod? The iPod spec calls for 640×480 video, so if you’re looking at the clip in QT and it’s squeezed, that’s probably an anamorphic squeeze.
