    Hi there,
I have my movie clips as mpg files (accompanied by xmp files). When I import them into Final Cut Pro, they do not have any audio (even though when I view the original mpg files, they do). I have tried to export the mpg files as mov files from Quicktime, but even that does not preserve the audio. Any suggestions please?

    Thank you!

MPEG Streamclip will properly export the mpg file to a QT codec of your choice with audio.
