I remember that you could scale a layer this way in previous versions. It was handy when you were zoomed in and couldn’t see the control points. There is a keyboard shortcut for scaling which you may find hand, it’s Option (alt on PC) and the plus/minus keys on the keypad. Hold down Shift as well to scale by a factor of 10.

Have you also activated the layer’s individual Motion Blur switch. The button at the top of the Timeline is to enable the blur but it must be activated for the layer first.

Not quite sure I understand the question… do you mean select the “layer” that’s visible in the comp window? You can select any layer by entering it’s layer number on the keypad. Another way (althought it’s not a keyboard shortcut) is to right click (Control click on Mac if you don’t have a 2 button mouse) in the comp window and from the context menu choose SELECT then the name of the layer you want.

Danny from what I can see the Invigorator layers appear to be tracking the controller layer perfectly. The only thing I changed was your controller layer size, it doesn’t need to be at the comp size – 1280 x 720! I made it 100 x 100 pixels which makes it much easier to see what’s going on. Are you sure you are toggling the invigorator layer’s quality switches on and off after you make a change to the contoller layer to get the Invigorator layers to update?
