Sound like one of the GoPro’s is 1080p and the other is HDV 1440 and the 1440 of course look squashed as it is captured in a 4×4 chip. Have you tried the Match Output Aspec in the Pan and Crop window. What are your Template settings and do you change them for the 1440 GoPro?

Can you upload a small sample of the original video so that we can see what is it like and see what can be tried as it will be easier to offer some advice. Twixtor does make life a lot easier where I have needed to slow things down.

What % are you trying to slow it down?

  • When I have had this problem I turned off the BLEND fields to NONE and it cured it..

As Steve mentions, to get any improvement then 64bit with version 10e would be a little better for render speeds and I guess there are some more nice options in 10e 64bit..but as you are only running with a Celeron CPU then you will not be getting much better performance so maybe change your OS to 64bit and download the 10e 64bit trial version. As far a am aware you can still reload your version 8 as a 32bit even though you also have the newer 10e 64bit…..but please do not expect life changing performance,,,,, Regards John

Hello Kathreen… Is the computer you are using 32bit OS or 64bit OS? Maybe you can provide the actual specification of the PC and what operating system is installed on it. This will help within any advise… Regards John

Had a quick ten minutes to think about this and was going to do the same as John Rofrano mentioned in Adobe Auditions but I downloaded FREE Winscope prog and also some phone voice samples. Played the sample with Stereo MIX slider selection and captured the Winscope display in Camtasia and then some pics of a phone, etc from the WEB. I was not sure exactly what you were trying to achieve so I made a sample which will help me understand and also other,,,, Just a very quick and dirty effort and if you need the VEG I can give it to you if it is something which may help you……..

Umm so you want a night scene without any Green field….? You said ” Imagine a photo of a beauitiful green field, it’s night and a fire comet flies by close to the ground, as it’s on fire and it’s night how could I make it illuminate the area it flies over” so do I think you want green grass but not to see it as it is night time and only show when the comet goes over ( as in the quick demo https://www.dropbox.com/s/gndm72m7wrtpbu2/night%20comet.wmv) Maybe you can do a PIC file to show what you need……. In the Demo the Green field is dark unless lit up by the comet…Maybe others on here can enlighten the question a bit as clearly I miss understand you..
