In Adobe Audition there is a filter in Effects/Stereo Imagery/ Center Channel Extractor. If the music you have in the mix is stereo and the voice is centered this should help in reducing the music.

Try this, it works if there is not too much movement in the object you are fixing.

Duplicate the clip on a track above it. Crop the clip to a small area right next to the gaffer’s tape. Make your cropped area about the same size, a little bigger is better. Then reposition the cropped clip over the tape. Some edge feathering will help too.

Are the levels on the audio meter showing audio on L and R? If so, then your audio will output equally on tracks 1 and 2 when exporting.

Try a different lens. I’ve found that some lenses on my Panasonic AF-100 will cause more grain than others. I don’t know why this would be, but it happens.

Try the Secondary Color Corrector. Isolate that particular color, darken it a bit, and soften the effect. Chroma key might be another way to isolate it so it can be adjusted, it’s worth a shot.

I have seen tests that show Exporting from PP is faster than through AME. Probably because there are less programs taxing the GPU.

Look for the Unsharp Mask filter. Then dial the numbers way back from the default settings and you can add a little bit of sharpening to the enlarged image.

We use the Vimeo HD 720p setting, as is with no settings changed, in AME with good results. Give it a try.
