I think you may be using the Move tool (keyboard shortcut – E) on a selected polygon rather than the Extrude tool (D).

Pan – left mouse button while holding 1 key, or center mouse button while holding ALT/OPT key
Dolly – left mouse button while holding 2 key, or right mouse button while holding ALT/OPT key, or scroll wheel
Orbit – left mouse button while holding 3 key, or left mouse button while holding ALT/OPT key
Bank – Right mouse button while holding 3 key

Some people prefer to keep their keyboard hand over the 1-2-3 keys and always use left mouse button, while some prefer to switch fingers on the mouse from left-center-right buttons while keyboard hand is ready on the ALT/OPT key (assuming you have a three button mouse). I learned the latter first, so that’s what I tend to stick with. Go with whatever floats your boat. Hope this helps.

I have only seen that message when I select “Stop Rendering” in the Picture Viewer’s “File” menu. And even when I have an external render in progress enabling the Interactive Render Region works fine with no messages. If it continues after a reboot of your computer I would suggest contacting Maxon support.

Sometimes I get lucky. Hopefully my hints will help you find what you need to modify.

First, make sure that there’s no intersections between the bottle and pills (and between the pills themselves) initially, or everything will explode as you describe. Second, it sounds like you need to alter some settings of the dynamics tags. Without seeing the project I’m guessing that you need to select something other than “Off” for the Individual Elements setting of the cloner’s dynamics tag, and perhaps set the Shape setting of the bottle’s tag to “Moving Mesh.” If that doesn’t work upload the project file and I will take a look at it.

  • Perhaps BAO’s Boa plugin will do what you want:

I don’t know how to correct your issue, but if you want a somewhat realistic animation of blood cells through a vein why not send the particles through a tube (sweep of ring along spline) and let them bounce off the walls?

    Something like this:

It looks like you need to increase the “View Clipping” setting in Project Settings. There are also “Enable Near/Far Clipping” settings in Camera Object > Details.
