Any PCIe card should work. CalDigit’s card is a good one I know. Doesn’t matter how many drives you’ve got in the array.. only need one port for it AFAIK.

I stand corrected!
If you capture them as anamorphic DV?, if they’re still a little off with the aspect ratio, you could just correct that in the end…?

I don’t think there is such a thing as an anamorphic DVD… Best you can do is capture it as 4:3, leaving a letterbox.

You need matching timecode… matching what? the camera masters? If so what you propose won’t match the camera master’s TC.

You need a time base corrector, or machines that have it in them.

Try capturing it as SD ProRes instead. Then just place it in the timeline to upconvert it… it should maintain the 4:3 aspect ratio.
