Jackson,

A thin, even film of aerosol hairspray will ‘deaden’ the reflection from the glass, but also cause an effect on what you are shooting. It’s a trade-off. It looks like lens filter. Not all hairsprays are created equal. Try a cheap one.

Absolutely! Steve is right on that. Vegas Pro 12 is the most intuitive NLE on the market today. You may want it’s features someday.

I don’t remember enough about Vegas 10 to help you out on this. I use Vegas every day for production, so features, limitations and stuff are all a blur. If you upgraded it would all work.

Masking is done in the pan/crop window. It is keyframed.

Yes I am using 11 (and test driving 12), so you won’t be able to open it. Download the trial version of 12 and you will be able to open it.
