This is a well done script that I will find useful. I have done a rough translation using Google translate of the pdf he has supplied. I’m sure it is full of errors, so if you want to rewrite it go ahead and repost it when done.

There is a little icon where you set the amount of blur. It looks like a clock face at 5 o’clock. Click on it to get the keyframe window.

This looks real good. I wish there was an English version of the tutorial.

Really, Steve. I don’t mind charging someone a second, third, or 10th time to clean-up after their thievery.

If you drop the video that plays well in Media Player on the Vegas timeline, what does your audio look like?

    Can you see the stutters?

Do the stutters show up anywhere else?

This might be a youtube problem. You might fix this by adding a second of black with a really low pitch, very low volume hum, so low that it is undetectable. If that stutters no one will hear it.

    Just a wild thought.

Most of the keygens themselves contain viruses. I am also a system admin. I clean up after them as a side business. Any package of software that you get from any source other than the provider or their agents is subject to tampering. My computer cost a good deal of money. I don’t want to trash it over a poor decision like installing hacked software.

From my perspective if a person installs a hackware version of Vegas they most likely will get poor performance and a variety of other problems. As an added bonus they get the opportunity to pay someone like me $135-$200 to fix their system. I usually keep pretty quiet if I find evidence of hackware – call it job security.

  • Go to the support site for your video card and see if they have previous releases of their video card driver that you can download. If they have a forum you can ask there too.

    Hey Bob,

Which codec are you using? MainConcept or Sony?
Are you trying to use a template that produces an .m2ts file?
Ever installed a codec pack (sorry, I had to ask.)

  • Jake,

According to the web the amdocl64. dll is AMD Accelerated Parallel Processing OpenCL 1.1 Runtime
This is for your video card.

If you are out of date I would upgrade to the latest version. If you are current then I would back down one version, maybe two, and see if that helps.

    Keep us posted,

July 24, 2012 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Updated Newblue fx taking 4x longer to render

    Ed,

I’m in a real situation here. After backing out of the NB upgrade my render times are still 4x longer. I have started a support ticket with NB but it’s not getting a lot of traction.

I have gone to batch rendering the noise reduction part over the weekend for the shows I edit the following week. Fortunately it’s not time sensitive content.

I wish I could get my old system back.
