Try a “rounded” PAR of 1.20 ?
Or– perhaps the stock footage is sourced from an analog format (like BetaSP); that will have black blanking left and right.-jeff

I too would suggest DPX. You might have an odd duck with the 10-bit TGAs: I have used TGA files for about 20 years, and I didn’t know there was a 10-bit variety!

I think in QuickTime (codec settings)you can choose to export a TIFF sequence.

Ah — I thought you were testing the QTime on a different machine. If it is the machine you installed the AJA software, it _should_ work. It plays back in Machina OK? If so, it may be a quirk in the environment. What OS are you running? And what version of QTime? Do you know which flavor of AJA *.mov you captured to?

Do you have the AJA codecs on the machines you are viewing the QuickTime? (you can install them free/separately).

If it was not shot in 1080P, it won’t do anything (good) to author it in 1080P. Is there a reason they requested that?

search the help docs for 2:3 pulldown; you’ll need to add that to your footage on a 59.94I timeline. There is more info on the “telecine” page of Wikipedia as well.

Are you mastering to a stereo mix or 5.1? Using stereo or mono tracks, but with a 5.1 master in PPro will give you weak levels (since headroom is left for the 4 missing channels).
