I have a sequence with 6 tracks of audio. 4 have a fill left filter applied. All also have constant power crossfades at the head and tail to remove harsh consonants and such.

Two tracks ( and the problematic tracks also have a de-hisser filter applied. On the time line everything sounds fine but when we go to output a test AVI or go to DVD these two tracks have VERY noticeable levels drops at the head of the clip. Again everything sounds fine on the time line, this is only happening on export.

This is due this afternoon, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

Are you mastering to a stereo mix or 5.1? Using stereo or mono tracks, but with a 5.1 master in PPro will give you weak levels (since headroom is left for the 4 missing channels).

Solved this. It was a simple matter of moving the Fill left filter above the DeNoiser in the effects stack.

    Thanks
