Your problem is that NTSC video does not handle very thin, moving lines well. Add a bit of blur to the image. Reducing the contrast a bit can help as well.

Boot Camp has a resource issue as well; which I didn’t know about until I installed an additional 2GB of RAM in my Mac Pro. Windows XP on the Mac Pro will recognize a maximum of 2 GB of RAM no matter how much you have installed. Major Bummer. I don’t like having expensive RAM sitting in my machine not being utilized. It clinches my decision to purchase the Adobe Suite for the Mac Pro when it is released. Final Cut Studio and the Adobe Suite on one OS. That should be pretty sweet.

    Andrew,

Congratulations on the baby on the way! I’ve got #3 coming in October so we’re going to be outnumbered! Yours must be a girl, eh? I see your wife came to her senses and decided against pink. Chroma key green it is!

Are the dots to appear randomly or are they to appear sequentially from one side to the other?

Is your solid actually at an incline and are you animating the camera up that incline? Is there a stationary background in the distance that could help give some perspective?
