almost all the converters in the market can do such “MERGE” job, if you don’t want to re-render them , just output as the origianl parameters.

Well , this MOV is a kinda container format which you may not very familar with the inner codec of this videos, but you can use MediaInfo to know the inner codec of your videos. And you can try to trasncode your MOV files into other foramt like AVI to reload them into Premiere.
I found a app which can handle my H.265/HEVC raw videos from Samsung NX1 to load into Premiere, video converter from pav. You can have a try. I am not intending to recommend any third-party app. JUst my experience.

  • If you want to load your MOV files to your premiere, first, you can try to update your premiere. second , you can use some trasncode app to help you. Since MOV is such a container foramt , then you can use a MediaInfo to help you figure the inner codec of your origianl videos.Recommend you video converter from Pav, and new features like H.265/HEVC decode/encode can be realized by this app, which handle my raw H.265/HEVC videos from Smasung NX 1

MOV is just a containter which you may not know the inner codec of it , suggest you use a MediaInfo to know the detailed info about it. Then trans-code it into MPEG or AIC to load it into your Premiere.

Thx for your posting. I used Handbrake a lot. But after all , this is a free app. And sometimes , I will turn to other paid apps to finish my conversion, recently, I would like to convert my videos into H.265 which the quality is better while file size is much smaller.

  • I hate the “Interlaced” but most videos came from camea will shot as this mode. while you import your videos into some editors, they will help you to change your “Interlaced” into “Progressive” to get a better viewing quality. NOthing to be worried about.
