If you’re using Blackmagic RAW DNG 4K then the tests I’ve seen have put the bandwidth around 290MB/s, which should be fine with your T3 as it should run around 550MB/s as long as its not over 90% full. However there is a lot of variance with DNG RAW regarding bit depth and the particular version you’re using (if not BMD’s)
I also imagine your mobile GPU is not powerful enough to work with 4K material. We recommend either the highest specification MacPro D700 workstations or Linux Resolve Quad GPU systems to work with this sort of material
My advice would be to work in a high quality HD proxy (such as ProRes 4444), and if required re-link to the original material before exporting if you need to deliver at 4K. Be sure to go through all your shots again though once you relink to check on the grades as you may need to tweak some bits and check on sizing

The conform will take what you have set in the config tab, not what is set in the XML/AAF
So you need to lock the settings tab before importing the XML
It will take resolution and timeline playback settings from the file, just not the conform framerate

You need to create a database before adding a user
Resolve will run but you have no CUDA card so it will run below optimal performance

My concern here is that Apple can quite easily pull the plug with 10.7.4
Also doesnt help that 10.7.3 causes lots of issues
Despite that, this is good news and hopefully we’ll see more of this
I’m going to see what nvidia/pny have to say officially about it
