brutal BUG
Posted by Marco Amaral on March 28, 2012 at 11:52 amwow..
I created a new project with all settings in 25fps as should be,
including in “timeline conform options” of course.
I graded the film,
I closed davinci.
Nodoby touched in this computer, but right now I have the same project
BLOCKED at 24fps.
how?
thanks in advance!Marco Amaral replied 14 years, 1 month ago 3 Members · 4 Replies -

March 28, 2012 at 12:01 pmwell,
in project list, if I created a new 25fps project with the same dimensions,
and load “config to current project” to the project with the problem,
everything is in 25fps again.hope this help someone.
but I don’t understand why davinci don’t like european 25fps movies… -

March 28, 2012 at 5:42 pmis your default setting is 25fps? otherwise you have to load the setting when creating the project

March 30, 2012 at 9:34 amThe conform will take what you have set in the config tab, not what is set in the XML/AAF
So you need to lock the settings tab before importing the XML
It will take resolution and timeline playback settings from the file, just not the conform framerate

March 30, 2012 at 1:28 pmHello!
yes my default setting is 25fps. but this doesn’t matter. right?
because everytime I start a new movie I check all settings and I choose what is right for each one,
resolution, fps, etc…Yes, I know the conform will use the config page elements,
so the first thing is choose the config page elements, then import the material or edl, xml…But what is strange is that I graded the movie in 25fps, closed davinci,
and in the next day the conform page was blocked to 24fps and all the cuts in timeline are messed up…the solution as I said in the second post is reload a 25fps config page settings,
and everything is right,
but come on, its not supposed work against davinci, instead work with davinci…thanks!
