[pom_boarder] “how you would connect the LHe to the DVI input on the cinema display.

You can get an AJA HDP converter box.
It takes SDI from your LH and adds scalling options, RCA audio out, and a DVI output for the Cinema HD.

[Jack Bone] “I need to capture in 48000 Hz, G5 audio in is just 44100 Hz”
    Not true.
Open “Audio MIDI Setup” (in Utilities folder) and choose you sample and bit rate there.

If the DAT machine has has an SP/DIF optical out,
why not just plug it into your G5’s optical input?
Use any audio app to capture it.

[sotvo17] “I want to put a Decklink SP card in my PCIX G5 2.0 system .I have read that there might be some interference from my ATI Radeon X800 XT AGP card . Does anyone know if this is an issue?”
I have a PCI-X dual 1.8 G5 with the X800 XT and the Decklink SP.
I have the Decklink SP in slot 4 to keep it far away from the X800 XT.
Slot 2 holds a LaCie firwire 800 card and slot 3 an M-Audio 5.1 Revolution.
The presence of the cards in slots 2 and 3 possibly acts as interference shields as well.
All seem to get along without interference.
Also, having the Decklink SP on its own bus in the 4th slot also avoids bus contention.
(slots 2 and 3 share the same bus)

[quaadnyc] “Is it just me, or does it seem a little intense that they confiscate your install disks?”
You can make disk images of your install disks.
Put them away on a hard drive for later use if need be.
I believe this is totally legal.
I have reinstalled using the images, no need to burn back to disk.

Look in your manual P60-61 for info on your G5.
If it was bought or built in 2003 your Dual 2 GHZ G5 is PCI-X
