    Hi James-
Try key framing the mix with original parameter to fade the flare in when you want. That should accomplish what you’re looking for.

The wild cards filter you mentioned is inherently slow when used as a filter. When used as a custom composite filter it will perform faster and a with more diversity its capabilities, multiple layer input for example. Give that a shot to see if it improves the speed.

    Stewart-
    Take a look here:
    https://www.borisfx.com/helpdocs/

These are the new help docs for BCC and the one for optical stabilizer will help you get started. You’re right though, we do need to up our image restoration game for Vegas tutorials.

The setup region mode allows you to define the region you want analyzed.

The translations and zoom will be under the post processing section of parameters.

Let us know how the project is progressing.

    Hi Christopher-
Can you try trashing the preferences file that governs the FX Browser? It’s stored in the following path:
    /Users/”yourusername”/Library/Preferences/

    It’s called:
    com.borisfx.BCC.fxBrowser.ae.plist

Premiere must be closed while doing this.

To get to your library folder hold the option key and click on the “Go” menu in Finder, you will see Library listed as an option. Open the Preferences folder and delete the .plist file

Relaunch Premiere and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Matt-
Our single track transitions are enabled in Adobe CC and on. They are not supported in CS6.

  • Hi Duncan-
There isn’t a way to export the moves from the filter as keyframes. Your colleague could download the trial of BCC to complete the project.

    Jim-
Again, it can preview 3D text. If you create a title with 3D extruded text you can preview it on it’s own. However, applying another filter to it, say film process, without precomposing will make it so you cannot see the 3D text.

What’s the footage like that you’re applying to? Is it high res?
