    This might be an overly-simple problem, but…

    I have an 11 second animation, it’s a 3D animation rendered in Cinema 4D, so it’s just a flat video now.

    At about 7 seconds, I would like a lens flare to come on, and then brighten up before fading out.

    PROBLEM: The lens flare just shows the ENTIRE 11 seconds. How do I keep the effect off until the 7 second mark?

    I actually have this problem in a few of the programs I use. 🙂

    Hi James-
    Try key framing the mix with original parameter to fade the flare in when you want. That should accomplish what you’re looking for.
