If you are concerned about trying out 10.0.6- there’s a risk-free method you can use here. It would preserve the ability to go back to 10.0.5 if something goes wrong:

In order to export to MXF in X, you need the Hamburg Media Pro plugin, the Calibrated is for import.

The ones that do only show one stereo file labeled “a1.” You can’t turn that into a dual mono file after the fact.

[Bret Williams] “Another oddity. Instead of turning down clips volume, I turn off the audio portion of the clip in the inspector. Seems like turning down the volume wouldn’t help performance as it would still be playing the clip, just at no volume.
But now, in those projects, I can’t regain the audio. It shows that it’s there, and I can turn it on and off, but there’s never any sound. So I would have to reedit those clips back in apparently”
I think this can be fixed by selecting the affected clip, choosing Open in Timeline, choosing the disabled audio channels, and hitting V to enable them again.

Also you can set Folders to automatically become Keywords on import. Then you could organize your media as desired in the finder and you’ll get that same structure directly in your Event.

Copy, then Edit>Paste Effects. This is all or nothing- i.e. you cannot choose which specific effects or attributes get pasted.

Any cut in a multicam edit can be slipped around with the trim tool- T key.

Depends what you mean by work. Will you hear sound- sure. Will it be accurate and professional-level for mixing for broadcast- not really…

Yes- you should update to the latest version of whichever OS you’re living on.
