CP-200 will be a nice ornament for your desktop, as it is not supported by Resolve. And so is Elements:-)

Which, unfortunately, also means, that you’re pretty much screwed. There is no way, that I know of, to change the setting of the “Timecode Conform Options” “Timecode calculated as:” frame rate after conform. You can only change it AFTER you delete all your material in the library. If you find a solution, please let me know…

I used to run Lustre on Win XP and now I run FilmMaster on Win7. I couldn’t care less. Once I’m inside an app, it makes no difference what is it running on. Same goes for Resolve. Under Windows OS, computer can easily read pretty much any file format, from HFS+ To EXT3. Very handy. Obviously, for big facilities the inability to write standard scripts and not being able to use standard Unix terminal will be a big problem. But in the long run, I don’t see the sky falling…

All true, except, there still will be no ability to write Prores on Windows Resolve. A very big negative in my book…

The test was designed specifically to just compare the performance of different cards. I had set the Threshold and only kept changing NR Radius settings between 2 and 3. But, frankly, I don’t think Threshold settings affects the GPU load that much. But I could be wrong. Nevertheless, as I said, it was only done to compare different cards and Threshold NR settings was always at the same setting for all tests.

Dude. Please read my earlier post. FSI monitor is not any different from ANY OTHER MONITOR! Every monitor, except CRT monitor needs to have an internal LUT for emulating Rec-709, P3 or any other color space. I’m not talking about re-calibrating an internal emulation LUT. There is no need to do that.

I use MC Color and I do not have this problem.
